Tutorial - Research The research room is where you will be able to research bonuses given to you by structures. There are two different types of research, County research which improves your county, such as the tier level increases and Military research which allows you to make advanced units. When you have research available, the name and the time required to research it will be shown.  You are only able to research on item at a time and whilst researching something, you will not be able to view the other researches that you have available. You are able to cancel any research you are doing, but if you do cancel, then any progress you have made will be lost and you will need to start the research item over again.
